InterviewsCFF: Zahra, you are known as mixed-wrestler, but you was seen on events and in video productions as F/F-combatrice. Since when you do that and how you consider to our scene?Zahra: I offer mixed sessions since round about 5 years, but I gain a lot of experience long time before during my activities at "Avalon"-Studio when I act in place of a colleague which was booked for a wrestling session. I noticed immediately that this was a huge fun for me. As soon as I saw the chance to accompany a session-tour I was very anxious and inquiring to meet the scene and check the potentials for this. My first tour at that time brought me to Munic and Stuttgart. This was an unbelievable intense experience – purely physical as well as emotional. After that, I became suprized how fast my name hand around and established in the scene. Long before I had an own homepage people ask me if I was "this woman who....". Primarily in context with specific wrestling technique I used. At that time I do this all intuitonally, of course without knowing the names of these holds. But I think this shows that I always was a fighter. I grew up as girl solely under boys: had to stay always as goalkeaper at soccer games and so on..., had to assert in brawls. Mostly I was not bad on that and often paid it back to the boys. This memorized me for the rest of live. CFF: You worked as dominatrix in the past. Which primary difference you see between yor activities as dominatrix and mixed wrestler? Zahra: This is a difficult question, because she had to be answered very detailed and sophisticated. I think it could be soonest reduced to a common denominator: The dimension of the pure physical dominance is that which makes the difference. The accent located in "physically", because you had to be stronger, technically better and been fitter to dominate your opponent physically and mentally. A dominatrix needs only (in addition to her attitude and her job experience) her external accessoires e.g. their Leather, whip etc... CFF: Where do you see your wrestling strengths? Zahra: I think it is primary my fighting spirit. Fighting brings me a lot of fun, I need the fight as "elixir" and I want to win as much as possible. Not give up too fast and the will to do something from every situation. That is in my opinion my big strength. I remember exactly a setting in a mixed fight on mat, where one of my favourite opponents griped me very well, but I did not grant him this pin point. After a long defense battle I managed to get free and reverse him. CFF: How would you describe the intentions and fantasies of the men which are booking a mixed wrestling session with you? Zahra: I always say to that: The minds are free - also the fantasies. Everyone makes the best of what he can do. But not all with me, because I offer only high quality competive wrestling plus the adventure as the case may to be dominated in a sportsmanlike challenge by a women. CFF: An similar question: How would you describe the intentions and fantasies of the men which are like to watch two women wrestling? Zahra: I imagine that it is mostly the delight of comparing strength by the so called "fair" sex. The beauty and esthetics of female wrestling surely plays one role just as well as the fun considering the female emotions which are shown during the fights. The female fight emotionen are in higher gear than the men emotions, because the rivalry between women - aware as no aware - plays a big role. Beyond there are surely some fetish orientated motives, which brings men to female wrestling. Some likes rather competive mat wrestling, other catfights with hair pulling and beating, again other boxing or armwrestling – the ones want to see females in clothings the others completly nude, etc. etc. I belive there are infinite varieties. But these variations makes it exciting and allure the heard of a fighter to try it himself now or another time. CFF: Could you figure that you - similar like e.g. Hana from www.Foxycombat.com - launch an own company and to became producer of f/f an f/m wrestling videos? Zahra: Absolutely yes! I would like the basically idea to make wrestling presentable. To get it out from the muddy - not to say a little bit "red lighted"- athmosphere, in which is still sticked especially in Germany. I say, that it is not infamous, if women wrestle men or a woman fights an other woman. It depends now how stylish - and equitable for the women- it will presented. ![]() CFF: What does your private environment thinking about your activities as wrestler? Zahra: My family of course is informed, has a big interest for my "profession" and backing me all the way I do. My further private enviroment indeed knows it only partially. I think that the society is at the moment not feel up enough really to understand why someone became a female wrestler, what think one can operate and which avails someone can gain for himself. Insofar it is pure self-protection and for the relatives, too, if you maintain a low profile and do not start the great enlightment CFF: You had ever a negative experience with a mixed client? If yes and you like to talk about - What kind of experiences? Zahra: Yes! This happens sometimes. You gain negative experience mostly when your opponent do not respect the rules of the game. e.g. if you exclude strangle holds or other dangerous techniques. Some men just not keep this rules. One time I had to stop a match and send off a guy who don't stop choking me after several admonitions. An other guy started permantly in a wild mannerto pull my hair... Of course there are a lot of things more that are going wrong. You cannot allways recognize in preliminary talk that you are sometimes in business with men who maybe hate women and want only compense their frustrations. But the positive experiences are pronderated by far. CFF: Yo have an excellent sport build body. How do you keep in shape? Zahra: I do a lot of sport. Normally I train two times a week BJJ and parallel two times a week Kick-Boxing, too. In addition to that I am playing beach volley and very often tennis in summer. Furthermore newly I play golf and and work out in gym for balance and exercise. CFF: Our fans are also interested how many pushups you maneged consecutivly ;-) and how expirienced you are in arm wrestling? Zahra: On arm wrestling I am – to be honest - not really good. An old shoulder injury handycaps me and the quite simple is that I am missing the necessary techniques for that. One of my session clients "measured" me and means that the length of my shoulders and forearms does not results in a optimal leverage effect. So there I likely not be a good arm wrestler. Actually I lost always against him. At the other side I am able to do a very lot of push ups continous in a training session. Normally several passes with two times of 25 pushups. The last mentioned client wants to do a test of strength with pushups, too. The winner should be the person which does the most pushups in 30 seconds. He reached 41, but I got 45 on my counter. CFF: A rough estimate: How many mixed fights you have done during your career? Zahra: Connot say, cause I do not keep a statistic, but there are a very very lot of matches to count. CFF: How do you rate the real chance of a female wrestler in a really competive match against a man.? Zahra: That depends on the combination of various factors. Primary on strength, size and weights of the combatants. This had to match altogether. If it is well balanced -according to experience forces at least most the bedder technique- the greater experience and the bedder stamania will going to win. Women often win mixed wrestling matches because they have the bedder experiences often and are more traines, of course, too. But naturally it is as well as for a high skilled combatrice like e.g. with mit size the size of 170cm and 58kg (5,5ft/128lbs) almost unpossible to defeat a 2m giant with 100kg (6,5ft/220lbs). There are simply natural physical limits CFF: Do you get anry if you louse against a man? And how is the feeling at victory or defeat versus a woman? Zahra: No! - I do not get anry, when ich lose against a man. I do not have a problem with that, neither as wrestler nor as woman. You have always a risk to lose a mixed match in this job. btw. it is not an antilogy for my will to be always the vanquisher. But it is very different in fights with women. It is very exciting for women to fight with other women. As a rule it adds other emotions than in fights with men. Primary the female rivalry plays a big role. Women are differently minded as men, there are more incalculably and give each other a run for their money. It is in every way highly exhausting to fight against women and the emotions on victory or defeat are more intense and persistant. CFF: At CFF we got continuesly enquires from fans, which wanted to see their own girl friend or wife in a wrestling match. Could such fans adress theirself to you? Zahra: Of course yes! I have such enquires already. There are the same terms as for the mixed wrestling with men. That means it occur only competive orientated wrestling. I confer the general conditions first and want to talk directly with the woman to seperate out fake enquires. So I prevent coevally the danger, too, that the gal does not know anything or is clueless about what come eventually to her. CFF: Your had very impressive performances at f/f-events. Do you be avaible for producer of f/f-fights anymore? Zahra: I had a big fun wrestling in live events. It was a useful experience, which helps me sportive and personally. I would like join again on events. Of course provided at, beside of the enquire, that the date conditions etc. fits my own schedules. CFF: What would you improve at the mixed scene generelly? Zahra: I think, that the scene should move together generally. Neither should the mixed wrestlers and the f/f-fans fight each other, nor the other styles like catfight fans, boxing fans etc. Basicly they have all the same interests, namely to live to see sporty-attractive women in fight. If someone want to do this as active or as spectator makes hardly any difference for women purposes. In the first instance it is just the point now that all together should contribute to bring the scene to an equitable level. CFF: Dear Zahra, we thank you heartly for the interview, wish you all the best and hope that you will remain affiliated with our scene for a long time yet. Zahra: I thank you for your interests. We see us on my homepage http://www.zahra-wb270.de or in my Yahoo group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Zahra-WB270/ - or maybe sometimes on the mat ;-) |
